What Is Supercheap Auto Club?

Supercheap Auto Club is the free rewards program and loyalty card for Australia's largest automotive accessories chain. Sign up, scan your rewards card at any of the 340+ stores or log in online, and you earn credits on every purchase — $5 for every $100 you spend — plus access to member-only pricing on a rotating range of products. The 5% credit return is solid for an auto parts retailer, though the real value often comes from the exclusive Club Prices rather than the credits themselves.

Is Supercheap Auto Club Worth It?

Without effort: $150/month spend → $90/year in credits, plus occasional Club Price savings on items you'd buy anyway
With the 3 moves: Time purchases around sales, always check Club Prices first, and activate bonus credit emails → realistically $150–250+/year in combined savings

Recent changes: Best Price Credit (the automatic refund if an item went on sale within 14 days) was retired on June 30, 2025. The current Spend & Get system ($5 per $100) replaced it. The program was also rebranded from "Club Plus" to simply "Club."

How Does Supercheap Auto Club Work?

Where it works: All Supercheap Auto stores across Australia (340+) and online at supercheapauto.com.au. No other brands — Rebel, BCF, and Macpac have separate programs.

What you earn: $5 store credit for every $100 spent on eligible purchases in a calendar year. Spend accumulates across multiple transactions.

How you get it back: Credit is applied as a discount on your next purchase — in-store (give your mobile number or email at the register) or online (click "apply credit" at checkout). $1 credit = $1 off.

What it costs: Free. Used to cost $5; now completely free.

How to sign up: Online at supercheapauto.com.au or at any store. Your digital card arrives instantly via email, and you get a $5 welcome credit for joining. Add your digital card to SuperCards so you always have your membership ready to scan at the register.

Member perks: Club Prices are the standout — member-exclusive pricing on selected products, with discounts that can be substantial (we've seen $50 off a battery as one example). You also get 20% off fitment services and vehicle diagnostics, a birthday reward, and early access to sales.

Good to know: Credits expire 28 days after they're issued — this is aggressive, so plan to use them quickly. Tyres, gift cards, and delivery charges don't count toward your $100 spend threshold. Your purchase history is stored on your account, which means receipt-free warranty claims.

How to Get the Most From Supercheap Auto Club

1. Check Club Prices before every purchase

The member-exclusive pricing is where the real savings are. Before buying anything at full price, check the Club Prices section on the Supercheap Auto website or in-store signage. Discounts on Club Price items often dwarf the 5% Spend & Get return — we're talking $10–50+ off individual products. Since membership is free, this is pure upside for zero effort.

2. Activate every bonus credit email

Supercheap Auto regularly sends targeted $5 bonus credit offers to Club members via email — sometimes every few weeks. Each one requires you to click "activate" before it's added to your account. The emails are frequent enough that many members filter them and miss the credits entirely. Set up a search so you can spot them. It's literally free money, and it stacks with your other savings.

3. Time big purchases for storewide sales

Supercheap Auto runs 20–40% off storewide events multiple times per year — Black Friday, EOFY, Boxing Day, and ad-hoc events in between. As a Club member, you get early access. If you need tools, a battery, or accessories but aren't in a rush, wait for the next sale. Your purchases still count toward Spend & Get credits, so you're effectively stacking the sale discount with the 5% credit return.

Supercheap Auto Club — Savings at a Glance

Spend on something you were already going to buy — $1 credit = $1 off, no minimum. Use it on your next oil, battery, or wiper purchase.

Use during a sale — your credit works on top of sale prices. Stack the discount.

There's a way to get even more value from your Supercheap Auto spend — see Pro Tips below.

Letting credit expire — credits vanish after 28 days. If you don't have a purchase planned, even a $5 bottle of screen wash is better than losing it.

Supercheap Auto Club — What to Watch Out For

Key pros and cons to know:

  • 28-day credit expiry is strict. Unlike most loyalty programs, you can't accumulate credits over time. Each $5 block expires 28 days after it's issued. Don't let them slip away — keep your card in SuperCards so you're always ready to scan at the register.
  • Tyres are excluded from Spend & Get. Tyre purchases don't count toward your $100 threshold. If tyres are your main Supercheap Auto expense, the credit program won't help you.
  • Don't impulse buy to "use" expiring credit. The 28-day window creates pressure to spend. If you don't need anything, let the $5 go rather than spending $30 on something you didn't want.
  • Best Price Credit is gone. If you're a long-time member expecting automatic refunds when items go on sale — that ended June 30, 2025.

When to Skip Supercheap Auto Club

  • If you rarely shop at Supercheap Auto: Under $50/month means less than $30/year in credits. The Club Prices might still save you money on individual purchases, but it's not worth actively thinking about.
  • If you're only buying online and comparing prices: Cashback portals sometimes offer competitive rates on auto parts retailers. Compare before committing — and note that using Club credit on a transaction may invalidate external cashback.
  • If you mainly need parts, not accessories: Repco and specialist auto parts stores may have better range and pricing for mechanical parts. Supercheap Auto's strength is accessories, tools, and consumables.
