What Is MYER one?
MYER one is the rewards program and loyalty card for Myer department stores — scan your free rewards card in-store or log in online, earn points on every purchase (2 per dollar), and get a $10 reward for every 1,000 points. That's a clean 2% back, which is solid for a department store programme. With the 2025 expansion, you can now also earn at partner retailers like JD Sports and Dan Murphy's by linking your bank card. The base return is decent without any effort, and with a few targeted moves you can push it further.
Is MYER one Worth It?
Without effort: $200/month at Myer → 4,800 points/year → $40 in rewards + $10 birthday reward = ~$50/year
With the 3 moves: Activate personalised offers, link your card for partner earning, and time your big purchases right → realistically $80–120/year
Recent changes: Myer merged with Premier Investments' apparel brands in 2025 — Just Jeans, Jay Jays, Portmans, Dotti, and Jacqui E now all earn MYER one points. Card-linked earning launched in November 2025 — but the card-linked partner programme is sunsetting on 31 July 2026, so this is a short-term earning channel only. The DOM was removed from the earn programme on 15 April 2026. Rewards are now available within 24 hours of hitting 1,000 points, replacing the old quarterly system. Tier thresholds were lowered: Silver now starts at $750 (was $1,500) and Gold at $2,500 (was $6,000). Member Pooling (up to 4 people) launched in February 2026.
How Does MYER one Work?
Where it works: Myer stores, Just Jeans, Jay Jays, Portmans, Dotti, Jacqui E, JD Sports. Card-linked (until 31 July 2026): DoorDash, Pet Barn, MyCar, Lvly.
What you earn: 2 points per $1 at Myer and fashion partners. 1 point per $1 at card-linked partners.
How you get it back: Redeem points at a rate of 1,000 points = $10 reward, usable in-store or online at Myer and partner brands. Available within 24 hours of reaching the threshold.
What it costs: Free. Always has been.
How to sign up: Online at myer.com.au, in-store, or via the MYER one website or app. Takes 2 minutes. Card is immediately usable digitally. Add your digital card to SuperCards via screenshot after registration so it's always one tap away.
Member perks: $10 birthday reward (base members). Higher tiers unlock better birthday rewards ($15 Silver, $20 Gold), complimentary beauty boxes, beauty treatments, and free standard delivery (Gold+). Tiers are based on annual spend from 1 April to 31 March: Silver from $750, Gold from $2,500, Platinum by invitation.
Good to know: Online points are earned automatically when you're logged into your MYER one account on myer.com.au. In-store points appear within 24–48 hours; online points can take longer due to return windows. If you forget to scan, you can claim missing transactions via the website — but only 2 per year.
How to Get the Most From MYER one
1. Activate every personalised offer in your account
Log into myer.com.au and check your personalised offers and boosters. Activate everything relevant — bonus point multipliers on specific brands or categories are applied automatically when you shop. No downside if you don't end up buying. This turns the base 2% into 4–6% on matching purchases without any extra effort.
2. Link your bank card for everyday earning (ending 31 July 2026)
On myer.com.au, link your Visa, Mastercard, or eftpos card. You'll then earn 1 point per dollar at DoorDash, Pet Barn, MyCar, and Lvly — automatically, with no scanning required. Note this card-linked partner programme is scheduled to end on 31 July 2026, so it's a short-term earning channel — make use of it while it's running.
3. Use your rewards — don't let them expire
With Fast Rewards enabled (the default), your points automatically convert to a $10 reward once you hit 1,000 points. But that reward expires after 12 months. Keep your MYER one card in SuperCards so it's always ready at checkout, and spend your rewards before they lapse. If you prefer to save up for a big purchase, switch to Points Banking via the website — but note that banked points expire 2 years from the date earned, with no activity reset.
How to Redeem MYER one Points
Spend the $10 reward in-store or online — 1 point = 1 cent, simple and straightforward. Usable at Myer, Just Jeans, Jay Jays, Portmans, Dotti, and Jacqui E.
Bank rewards for a big purchase — useful if you want to combine multiple rewards during a sale for maximum impact. Just watch the expiry dates.
There's a way to effectively get more than 2% back on your Myer spend — see Pro Tips below.
Letting rewards expire — this is the real trap. Rewards vanish after 12 months. Banked points vanish after 2 years. No extensions, no exceptions.
MYER one — What to Watch Out For
Key pros and cons to know:
- Rewards expire after 1 year. Banked points expire after 2 years from the date earned — the clock does not reset with new purchases.
- Birthday reward requires marketing opt-in. You must have opted into marketing emails, spent at least $30 in the membership year, and been a member for 1+ month. Miss any of these and you'll get nothing.
- Missing transaction claims are capped at 2 per year. If you forget to scan, there's limited recourse. Keep your card in SuperCards so you always have it ready at checkout.
- Stick to the website to manage your account. It's the more reliable channel for activating offers and tracking rewards.
When to Skip MYER one
- You rarely shop at Myer or its partner brands. Under $50/month at Myer, your annual return is less than $12. Not worth thinking about.
- You shop online and want maximum cashback. Cashback portals often offer 3–8% at Myer — significantly more than the 2% base rate. Check whether a cashback portal has a better deal before buying online.
- You prefer travel rewards. David Jones now partners with Qantas Frequent Flyer. If you collect Qantas Points and shop at department stores, that might deliver more value per dollar for you.
