What Is OnePass?
OnePass is Wesfarmers' paid membership covering Kmart, Target, Bunnings, Officeworks, and Priceline — a solid slice of where most Australian households already shop. For $40/year you get free standard delivery, 5x Flybuys points in-store, and 365-day returns. The 2.5% effective cashback in physical stores is decent, but the real value depends on how often you'd otherwise pay for delivery.
When Is OnePass Worth It?
Without effort: Scan your membership at the register on your normal in-store shopping. At $300/month across partners, that's roughly $50 in extra Flybuys value after the membership fee.
With the 3 moves: Choose Click & Collect over delivery, time your signup to a promotion, and activate Flybuys targeted offers. Realistic value: $80–120/year including delivery savings.
Recent changes: Catch.com.au shut down in April 2025 — the online marketplace is gone. Priceline and InstantScripts joined as new partners mid-2025, adding free prescription delivery and telehealth discounts. Half-price membership offers ($20/year) appear roughly every quarter.
How It Works
Where it works: Kmart, Target, Bunnings Warehouse, Officeworks, Priceline, and InstantScripts.
What you earn: 5 Flybuys points per $1 spent in-store and via Click & Collect at Kmart, Target, Bunnings, and Officeworks. That's 2.5% back. Online delivery orders only earn 1 point per $1 (0.5%) — the same rate as non-members.
How you get it back: Redeem 2,000 Flybuys points for $10 off at checkout at Kmart, Target, Officeworks, Coles, and others. Or transfer to Velocity Frequent Flyer for potentially higher value on flights.
What it costs: $40/year or $4/month. 30-day free trial for new members. Promotional pricing ($20/year) pops up regularly — never pay full price without checking a deal forum first.
How to sign up: Create an account on onepass.com.au in about 2 minutes. Link your Flybuys account straight away — the 5x points won't activate without it. You can scan your card into SuperCards via screenshot after registration.
Member perks: Free standard delivery (no minimum spend, eligible items only), 365-day change of mind returns at Kmart, Target, Officeworks, and Priceline (not Bunnings), express Click & Collect at Kmart and Bunnings, early access to Black Friday and selected sales, and 30% off your first InstantScripts telehealth service (10% ongoing).
Good to know: The 5x Flybuys bonus only applies in-store and Click & Collect — not home delivery. This is the single most common source of confusion. Free delivery excludes bulky items, and rural postcodes may still get charged. Points typically appear within 2–3 business days.
The 3 Moves That Actually Matter
1. Choose Click & Collect Over Delivery
This is the single biggest thing most OnePass members miss. Home delivery earns just 1 Flybuys point per dollar (0.5%). Click & Collect earns 5 points per dollar (2.5%). On a $200 Bunnings order, that's the difference between 200 points ($1) and 1,000 points ($5). Click & Collect orders at Kmart and Bunnings are typically ready within 2 hours. Free delivery is a nice fallback when you genuinely can't pick up — but points-wise, it's not close.
2. Never Pay Full Price for the Membership
OnePass runs $20/year promotions roughly every quarter. The current offer (March 2026) gives you a $20 Kmart reward with the $40 annual signup — effectively $20. If you're renewing, start the cancellation process in your account settings. At the last step, you'll often be offered a $20 renewal. At $20/year, just two free deliveries cover the cost.
3. Check Flybuys for Bonus Offers Before Big Purchases
Open the Flybuys website and check for bonus point offers at OnePass partner stores. These are personalised — you might see "5x bonus at Bunnings this week" or "10x at Kmart." These can stack with your OnePass 5x, pushing your earn rate to 10 points per dollar (5% back) on a single transaction. Activate the offer before you shop. It takes 10 seconds and can double your return on big purchases.
Get Your Money Back (Best to Worst)
Flybuys Dollars at checkout — 2,000 points = $10 off at Kmart, Target, Officeworks, Coles, and others. Simple, instant, full value.
Velocity Frequent Flyer transfer — 1,000 Flybuys = 500 Velocity Points. For premium cabin flights, this can push value to 1–1.5 cents per Flybuys point — triple the cash rate.
There's a way to make your Flybuys points cover the membership itself — see the extras below.
Rewards Store merchandise — Almost always overpriced. You'd get the same product cheaper at retail.
Watch Out For
- 5x points are in-store and Click & Collect only. Online delivery earns 1x — same as non-members. This catches a lot of people.
- Link your Flybuys to OnePass before you shop. If you forget, retroactive point credits are not guaranteed. Keep your membership details in SuperCards so you're always ready at checkout.
- Free delivery has more exclusions than you'd expect. Bulky items, clearance stock, marketplace products, and certain postcodes are excluded. Bunnings is particularly restrictive.
- Flybuys points expire after 12 months of inactivity. One scan at any Flybuys partner resets the clock.
When to Skip OnePass
- Under $150/month at partner stores: The 5x bonus generates less than $36/year in extra value. After the $40 fee, you'd lose money on points alone. You'd need frequent deliveries to make up the gap.
- You mostly shop online with delivery: The 5x bonus doesn't apply. The main benefit is free shipping, and if you only order a few times per year, cashback portals may offer better value.
- You don't shop at Wesfarmers stores: If your spending is mostly at Woolworths, Coles, or Amazon, OnePass does nothing for you.
