Morrisons More Card

What Is Morrisons More Card?

Morrisons More Card is the free loyalty scheme for the UK's fifth-largest supermarket. Scan your card in-store, online, at Morrisons petrol stations and selected Morrisons Daily stores to earn points β€” 5,000 points converts into a Β£5 voucher called a "Fiver." The points return is honestly modest (roughly 0.2–0.5% depending on what you buy), but More Card Prices on hundreds of products and a free weekly hot drink at the cafΓ© add genuine value on top.

When Is Morrisons More Card Worth It?

Without effort: Spend Β£150/week at Morrisons, just scan your card β†’ around Β£10–15/year in Fivers plus Β£50–100+/year in More Card Prices savings

With the 3 moves: Activate Points Boosters and time your shops around promotions β†’ realistically Β£30–50/year in points, plus member pricing savings

Recent changes: Since December 2024, you earn points on every product (previously only selected items). Morrisons added Deliveroo integration (March 2025) and 300+ online partners (May 2025). However, More Card-exclusive price promotions were scaled back significantly in late 2025 β€” fewer items carry member pricing than a year ago.

How It Works

Where it works: Morrisons supermarkets, Morrisons Daily convenience stores (700+), morrisons.com, Morrisons on Amazon, Deliveroo (Morrisons orders), Morrisons petrol stations, Morrisons CafΓ©, plus 300+ online partner retailers

What you earn: 5 points per product purchased. Also 5 points per litre of fuel. Note: it's per item, not per pound β€” a Β£1 tin of beans earns the same as a Β£10 bottle of wine.

How you get it back: Convert 5,000 points into a Β£5 Fiver to spend in Morrisons stores or on morrisons.com. Digital cardholders choose when to convert; physical card users get Fivers printed automatically at the till.

What it costs: Free. No paid tier.

How to sign up: Register on the Morrisons More website β€” takes 2 minutes. Digital card works immediately; physical card available on request. You can scan your card into SuperCards via screenshot after registration.

Member perks: More Card Prices give you lower prices on hundreds of products (just scan your card at checkout). Free hot drink once a week at Morrisons CafΓ© after 2:30pm (excludes hot chocolate and mocha β€” check your local cafΓ© is still open, as some closed in April 2025).

Good to know: Points take up to 72 hours in-store, and up to 45 days from online partners. If you forget to scan, use "Forgot to Scan?" in the website β€” scan your receipt barcode within 14 days to claim points (up to 12 receipts per month, but this won't recover missed More Card Price discounts).

The 3 Moves That Actually Matter

1. Activate Your Points Boosters Every Month

Open the Morrisons More website, go to "My Offers," and activate up to 10 Points Boosters from the 20 available. These are personalised to your shopping habits β€” buy specific brands or categories you'd purchase anyway and earn bonus points on top. Morrisons says maxing out all 10 could earn up to Β£20/month in extra points. You won't hit the max, but even modest use can double or triple your base earning rate.

2. Always Scan for More Card Prices

The real day-to-day value isn't the points β€” it's the member-exclusive prices. Hundreds of products carry lower prices for More Card holders, with individual savings of 20–35%. Keep your card in SuperCards so it's always one tap away at checkout, and you'll never miss these discounts.

3. Claim Your Free Weekly Hot Drink

Visit any Morrisons CafΓ© after 2:30pm and scan your card for a free hot drink β€” tea, coffee, or similar (not hot chocolate or mocha). One per week, any day. That's worth roughly Β£2–3 per week, or over Β£100/year if you use it consistently. Easily the highest-value perk of the whole programme.

Get Your Points Out (Best to Worst)

Fiver used in-store β€” Β£5 off your shop, auto-deducted when you scan. Simple, no minimum spend (but no change given under Β£5).

Fiver used online β€” same Β£5 value on morrisons.com via e-code. Note: digital Fivers expire after just 3 months, so don't sit on them.

There are ways to earn significantly more points through online partner shopping and promotional stacking β€” see Pro Tips below.

Spending a Fiver on a small purchase β€” if you buy something under Β£5, you lose the difference. Always use Fivers on a normal-sized shop.

Watch Out For

  • Points expire after 12 months if not converted to Fivers. And if your card goes unused for 52 weeks, all points are wiped.
  • Digital Fivers expire after just 3 months β€” physical Fivers last 12 months. If you convert digitally, use your Fivers promptly.
  • Fivers can't be used at Morrisons Daily stores or on Amazon. Only in Morrisons supermarkets and on morrisons.com.
  • Keep your card in SuperCards as a backup. That way you can always scan at checkout even if the Morrisons system has issues β€” common gripes include activated offers not registering at the till.

When to Skip Morrisons More Card

  • You mainly shop at Tesco or Sainsbury's. Both Clubcard and Nectar offer more predictable per-pound returns and generally more extensive member pricing. Morrisons' per-product system penalises big-ticket items.
  • You spend under Β£50/month at Morrisons. You'll barely accumulate enough points for a single Fiver per year. The points alone aren't worth thinking about.
  • You already use cashback portals for online shopping. Morrisons' More Partners portal offers points on 300+ retailers, but dedicated cashback portals typically offer higher rates.
