You redeem CT Money at any of those stores at a straight $1 = $1 value. The base earn rate is a modest 0.4%, but personalized bonus multipliers and well-timed purchases can push that to 2-8% on individual transactions.

How Does Triangle Rewards Work?

Where it works: Canadian Tire, Sport Chek, Mark's, L'Equipeur, Party City, Atmosphere, Pro Hockey Life, PartSource, Gas+, Petro-Canada (linked), plus all their websites.

What you earn: 0.4% back in CT Money on the pre-tax purchase amount. Gas+ pays 3 cents/litre with cash or debit.

How you get it back: Spend CT Money at the register or at checkout online — $1 CT Money = $1 off. No minimums.

How to sign up: Register at the Triangle website — takes 2 minutes. Card works digitally right away; physical card and key fob available too. You can scan your card into SuperCards via screenshot after registration.

Member perks: Personalized weekly bonus offers (5x-20x multipliers on specific products). A 20x birthday bonus. Offer Swap lets you trade unwanted offers for ones other members don't need.

Good to know: Online orders require you to be logged into your Triangle Rewards account at checkout. Bonus CT Money from online purchases takes up to 5 weeks to post. Forgot to scan in-store? You can submit a retroactive collection request within 15 days at Canadian Tire or Party City — but only if you haven't swapped any offers since the purchase.

If a purchase matches an active offer, the 5x-20x bonus CT Money lands automatically. If nothing matches, the offer expires with zero downside. 2. Use Offer Swap to Get Better Deals

If your weekly offers don't match your shopping plans, swap them. The Triangle website lets you trade an unwanted offer for a "Community Offer" from another member. This gives you access to a much larger pool of multipliers than what you'd get on your own. Check before any planned purchase — someone else's 20x offer on the item you need might be sitting there.

3. Time Big Purchases for Bonus Days

Triangle Bonus Days run every few weeks, offering 20x-50x multipliers when you hit a spending threshold (e.g., 20x on $150+). CT Money expires after 18 months of inactivity. Any earn or redeem transaction resets the clock — one small purchase keeps everything alive.

The Triangle World Elite Mastercard — no fee, serious earn rates. 4% at CTC stores, 3% on groceries (first $12,000/year, excludes Costco and Walmart), 5-7 cents/litre at Gas+, and 1% everywhere else. No annual fee. Requires $80,000 personal or $150,000 household income. Welcome bonuses change periodically — check the current offer on the Triangle website before applying. The base Triangle Mastercard earns the same 4% at CTC stores but only 1.5% groceries and 0.5% elsewhere — still solid with no income requirement. If you don't track spending carefully, skip the credit card entirely.
Link your RBC card for 3x CT Money. If you already bank with RBC, link your debit or credit card to your Triangle Rewards account. You'll earn 3x CT Money (1.2%) at CTC stores plus your regular RBC rewards on the same transaction. This does not stack with the Triangle Mastercard — it's for people who prefer their RBC card.
