What Is My Sheetz Rewardz?

My Sheetz Rewardz is the free loyalty program for Sheetz, the 820+ location convenience store chain across seven Mid-Atlantic and Midwestern states. Scan your card on every visit and earn 5 points per dollar spent on food, drinks, and snacks — then redeem those points for free items. You also get an instant 3¢ per gallon off fuel just for signing up. The effective return on in-store spending lands around 3–5%, which is genuinely strong for a convenience store program.

Without effort: Spend $100/month at Sheetz, scan your card, fill up twice a month → roughly $30–40/year in free items and fuel savings.
With the 3 moves: Check Offerz before every visit, redeem points strategically, consolidate household cards → realistically $60–100/year.

Recent changes: Sheetz migrated to a new loyalty platform (Ignite Retail Technology) in October 2025, bringing improved app performance and data features. The chain is also expanding aggressively into Michigan with 14 new stores in 2026.

How It Works

Where it works: All 820+ Sheetz locations in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, and Michigan.

What you earn: 5 points per $1 on qualifying purchases. Fuel, alcohol, tobacco, lottery, milk (half-gallon/gallon), car wash, and gift cards are excluded.

How you get it back: Redeem points for free food and drinks — starting at 250 points for a fountain drink or donut, up to 1,000+ points for made-to-order meals. You can also convert points into cents-off-per-gallon fuel discounts.

What it costs: Free. Always has been.

How to sign up: Register on the Sheetz website in about 2 minutes. Your digital card is immediately usable — scan it from your phone or grab a physical card in-store. After registering, you can scan your card into SuperCards via screenshot for quick access at the counter.

Member perks: Three tiers — Fan (entry), Friend (1,000 yearly points), and Freak (2,500 yearly points). Friend unlocks surprise freebies and exclusive offers. Freak adds Sheetz merchandise access, better freebies, and special event invitations. All tiers get a birthday reward (usually a free drink or donut).

Good to know: The 3¢/gal fuel discount applies automatically at the pump — no points needed, no activation required. Points appear quickly for in-store purchases. Tier status is based on a rolling 12-month point total and resets annually.

The 3 Moves That Actually Matter

1. Check the Offerz Tab Before Every Visit

Open the Sheetz website, go to the Offerz tab, and add any deals that match what you're buying. These include BOGO offers, bonus point events, and dollar-off deals that stack with regular pricing. You must tap "ADD" before scanning at the register — offers won't apply retroactively. Double and triple point promotions show up here too, turning a $10 purchase into 100–150 points instead of 50.

2. Redeem Points for Food, Not Merchandise

Your best value is redeeming at the lower end — 250 points for a fountain drink or donut that costs $1.50–$2.50 retail. That's 3–5% effective return. Higher-point MTO items (1,000+ points) still deliver solid value at 2.5–3.5%. The Sheetz Shwag merchandise (hats, shirts) looks fun but gives you less per point. Stick to food and drinks.

3. Pool Family Cards on One Account

Every household member can get their own physical MySheetz Card linked to a single account. All purchases pool toward the same point balance and tier status. A family of three spending $50 each per month hits Friend tier (1,000 points) in under 7 weeks and Freak (2,500 points) in about 4 months — unlocking surprise freebies and exclusive offers much faster than solo.

Get Your Points Out (Best to Worst)

Free food and drinks (250–1,000 points) — best per-point value at 3–5% effective return. Fountain drinks and donuts at 250 points are the sweet spot.

Fuel discount redemption — convert points to cents-off-per-gallon. Good value when filling a large tank, though the per-point rate varies by offer.

Watch Out For

• Points expire on a rolling 12-month basis. Points earned in March 2026 expire March 31, 2027. No activity resets the clock — you just lose them.
• Reward selection is irreversible. Once you tap "ADD" on a reward, you cannot un-redeem it. Double-check before tapping.
• Fuel doesn't earn points. The 3¢/gal discount is nice, but your gas purchases contribute zero toward your point balance or tier status. Keep your card in SuperCards so you never forget to scan on the purchases that do count.
• Tier status resets annually. Your rank is based on a rolling 12-month window, not lifetime spending. Stop buying and you'll drop back to Fan.

When to Skip My Sheetz Rewardz

• No Sheetz near you. The chain only covers 7 states. If there's no Sheetz on your regular route, there's nothing to earn.
• You only stop for gas. Fuel is excluded from points. Your sole benefit would be 3¢/gal — roughly $18/year at 50 gallons/month. Better fuel discount cards exist.
• Under $30/month in-store. That's 1,800 points/year — about $10–15 in free items. Fine to scan your card, but not worth changing behavior for.
